Here are a couple of things I have been wanting to pass on for a while. First off is Code Monkey. This is for all those programmers out there that get the shaft most of the time. It was written last year by Jonathan Coulton and sums it up pretty nicely. I get a kick out of it every time I listen to it. You can check out the blog post and audio version here or see below for a nice video that someone put together with the Black Heaven anime series. Next up is TRON. I haven't watched this movie since I was a kid. I just rented it this week and all I can say is WOW. When the first two characters you meet are RAM and (C)ROM you know it's going to be good (at least for us geeks, that is). When I first saw this movie I was just starting to learn about computers on my TRS-80 Color Computer, but I still didn't get all the allusions in the movie. Now that I am just slightly older and quite a bit wiser I found that it was a lot of fun to watch. If you haven't seen this one in a while it is well worth a trip to netflix.com to add it to your queue. Here is the long version of the movie trailer,
