After I installed Ubuntu Hardy on my desktop and booted back into my Windows partition I noticed something different about the icon for one of my hard drives. This is not even the hard drive I installed Ubuntu on. I am not sure how it happened but I like it! I especially like the "shared drive" icon. It's like Linux is trying to tell Windows "here you go ... this will help". LOL

It's not cool at all for Ubuntu to hack your system like that and start to overwrite your Windows partition!

I doubt its hacked

I doubt Ubuntu has hacked into the Windows partition, lol. If it did, they would be creative enough to replace the start button with an Ubuntu logo that links to the installer ^_^ And by the way, your captcha is impossible. nearly.

The D: is likely just the partition where windows keeps its backups and the original place from which windows was installed but in its deviousness does not show you.
